Opening of Pupin bridge connecting Zemun and Borca

Pupin Bridge - connection to Corridor 10 and 11
Already domesticated called "Chinese", the bridge over the Danube, which was named after the famous Serbian scientist Mihajlo Pupin, built by the main contractor Chinese company "China Road and Bridge Corporation", a part of the main North tangents, which will connect Corridor 10 with the Zrenjanin road and relocated freight traffic from the city center. Our company had the honor to participate in the work on the northern access bridge from the Borča side.

With the opening of the Pupin bridge the travel from Zemun to Borca is shortened by almost 30 kilometers.
Work on the bridge Zemun - Borca started in late October 2011. The new bridge is 1,507 meters long, 29.1 meters wide and 22.8 meters high. The main span is 362 meters long.
The bridge has six lanes and pedestrian-bicycle paths on both sides of the bridge.
After 79 years , when it opened the Pancevo Bridge, Belgrade  received a second bridge across the Danube.
Access roads will be a total of 21.6 kilometers long and is part of the Zrenjanin road to Pancevo road will be completed in September 2015 and will link with road corridors 10 and 11, and our company participates in works on two smaller bridges in Krnjaca.
